Innovation in technology systems is at the heart of what we do as a telecoms systems and software product company. However, like our customers, we think that enabling technology as tools and means to ends, and not ends in themselves. The development of our robust and scalable system and software products as the tools to enable and power innovative subscriber services are guided first and foremost by the objective of designing and delivering solutions that make immediate business sense for our customers. We offer a range of solutions that tackle business challenges and problems in a practical way, and that yield lasting improvements and meaningful benefits for our customers, whether they are in the early stages of growing their business or find themselves in a mature, well-developed telecoms services market with a high subscriber penetration rate. We have been working alongside many customers as the mobile telecoms industry has grown from a niche, business-user focused service to one that is a truly affordable, mass-market consumer service in many countries today. We appreciate the significant investment that all of our customers must make from day one – from the hugely capital-intensive core network infrastructure, to the massive marketing spend required to build a subscriber base to consume the services enabled by their core infrastructure. Where we aim to bring value to our customers is when they have made such significant investments to open for business, and are seeking for simple and practical means to extract maximum performance and returns from their investment in core assets. To us, this translates to a problem of how to optimise the financial performance of the core assets you have – either to (1) quickly maximise revenue generation from existing core assets subject to minimal additional capital expenditure or (2) minimise cost of service delivery subject to not adversely affecting customer satisfaction levels. There are of course, many others in our industry, large and small, that offer products or enabling technologies with similar basic functional and non-functional features. This is especially so in the field of mobile value-added-services (VAS) systems and software. However, we have been in the telecoms and telecoms IT industry long enough to know that the success stories are born of how solutions are designed, built and actually delivered to suit the idiosyncracies of the customer’s local market environment and their own specific marketing strategies. We believe that our focus and how we do what we do makes a significant difference to the actual business results achieved by our customers. |
